As Prince’s Trust International transitions to The King’s Trust International and expands its reach, we have an exciting opportunity that will be pivotal in strengthening the legal, governance and assurance function for the charity.
You will be working closely with our Head of Legal & Company Secretary and lead on complex, challenging and meaningful projects worldwide. You will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or paralegal with post qualification legal experience gained in house or in a proactive private practice environment that you will utilise to help the charity to boost its income, including through a newly established trading subsidiary, and to support young people through programmes delivered in over 18 countries.
Proactive and solutions-focused, your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective trusted relationships and influence at all levels. You will need to be well-versed in most areas of charity and commercial law, adept at providing legal advice and assistance and able to undertake company secretarial and legal compliance matters. Flexible, you will be able quickly to expand your knowledge and experience in new areas as part of an ambitious and agile team. In addition, your excellent planning and organisation skills will enable you to prioritise and multitask as you work at the heart of the organisation’s governance, improving processes and achieving positive change.

As part of NUS Charity, NUS Services Ltd (NUSSL) is a not for profit entity rooted in ethical procurement, delivering purchasing frameworks across retail, food service and licensed hospitality for the education sector.
We are a purchasing consortium with a proud track record of using our national commercial contracts to leverage influence on our supply chain. We offer a support service to our members delivering ethically screened procurement with best in market pricing, marketing support, operational support, income generation and finance support.
What’s the job?
We’re searching for a talented Buyer to join the trading support team. This is a fast-paced department responsible for a broad range of product ranges. We work with some of the biggest brands across the market to deliver the most competitive ranges to our members. This is a unique role with the opportunity to build key relationships with cross-functional teams, contribute to the development of the departmental strategy and build partnerships with market leading brands.
We’re looking for an experienced purchasing professional who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and looking for a new challenge.
The successful candidate will report directly into the Senior Buyer supporting with supplier and category management and assisting with the tender process for designated product categories.
Who you are
You’ll have Buying experience or transferable skills in a relevant purchasing role and will be able to demonstrate a proven understanding and passion for buying.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience of negotiating
• Is confident in working to a critical path and able to prioritise accordingly
• Has good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Is able to deputise for the Senior Buyer in key meetings
• Has strong numerical, analytical and organisation skills
• Is highly motivated with the ability to use their own initiative

Havens hospices are headhunting for a Individual Giving Manager responsible for development, planning and delivery of giving strategies ensuring new donors are acquired and retained also ensuring donors are stewarded with effective donor pathways to maximise income and lifetime value. Additionally, to work closely with all fundraising colleagues to maximise our more sustainable streams of income and to progress all donors and supporters towards legacy giving.

Job description
- To work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Deputy Head of Fundraising to contribute to the development of strategy, budgets and plans across the department.
- To be collectively responsible with other Fundraising Managers for progress against strategy, budgets and plans.
- To proactively develop a culture of collaborative working in the department by effectively leading and managing a number of key fundraising projects.
- To ensure an informed Direct Mail program is delivered, maximising income through effective data segmentation, use of emotive case studies, powerful propositions and asks and appropriate donor pathways.
- To develop and lead a new approach for legacy fundraising, integrating the pathways to pledging a gift in a will through from first engagement with the charity and beyond.
- There is an option for this role to be 30 – 37.5 hour per week, rather than just full time.
